Outdoor Rock Climbing – Intensive Introduction

This course is focused on people who already climb in wall and rock, but want to improve their skills to embark on larger projects, routes.

In general the idea is to provide a greater number of techniques and maneuvers to solve any eventuality on the wall, lead without any problems.

A four-day intensive course that provides beginners and indoor climbers with a foundation in outdoor climbing techniques and the principals of rock climbing technical systems.

By the end of the program, climbers will be able to belay, rappel, and set-up their own single-pitch top-rope systems to enable them to climb independently.

You will learn:

Understanding of anchor selection and belay techniques, and knowledge of what makes the climbing outdoors so interesting.

Become self-sufficient in anchor selection, belay construction, rope handling, abseiling, self-protection and a host of other skills useful for climbing outdoors.

This course will let you experience the fun and excitement of vertical rock by giving you the maximum amount of climbing activity interspersed with some important instruction.

The climbing will range from easy to challenging with ample opportunity for you to try a range of varied climbing styles from faces to cracks.

All technical equipment is supplied.
